He is currently a Senior Lecturer and Director of Undergraduate studies at the university. He is also a senior fellow at the Cato Institute. He used to be the Chairman of the Department of Economics at Boston University during the 1990’s.
Jeffrey Miron’s field of expertise include the economics of libertarianism and he is an advocate of several libertarian policies such as legalizing all drugs and allowing failing banks to go bankrupt. He has written four books such as Drug War Crimes: The Consequences of Prohibition and Libertarianism, from A to Z.
