Lane Kiffin started his career as a football player for the Fresno State Bulldogs as quarterback from 1994 to 1996. After playing in the field, he worked as graduate assistant and offensive line for the Colorado State Rams.

Then, he became the quality control assistant for the Jacksonville Jaguars for a year. In 2001, Kiffin was hired as a defensive end for the USC Trojans. With his extensive experience in the world of football, he became the head coach for the Oakland Raiders in 2007. He was the youngest coach ever in the team’s history and in NFL history since 1946.
