China visa requirements for Pakistanis

Basic Travel Requirements for Pakistanis visiting
China

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to
apply for a Chinese Visa.


  • Original, signed passport must be valid for 6 months beyond stay in China.
  • The passport should have at least two blank passport pages available for Chinese visas and entry stamps.
  • Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for China visas.
  • The original signed visa application form should be completely filled by the application.
  • Applications must be typed in block capital letters; handwritten changes are not accepted. 
  • The signature on the application form must match the signature on the applicant’s passport.
  • One-color 48 mm tall x 33 mm wide photo taken within the last six months, against an all-white background.
  • The photograph must show the full frontal view of the applicant’s head with the face-centered in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression, neither eyeglasses nor headwear except for religious purposes, you should not wear any garment identical to the photo background.
  • The passport photo should not be affixed to the application and it may not display evidence of adhesive tape or staples.
  • Computer-generated flight or cruise itinerary or copy of airline tickets or cruise ticket showing round trip travel to China or onward flight.
  • An official invitation or a copy of the confirmed hotel and/or cruise reservation should be submitted by the application as proof of accommodation in China.
  • A child (under 18) must submit their birth certificate upon arrival and, unless traveling with both parents or a legal guardian, must also have copies of parents’ passports. 
  • If passport copies are not available for parent(s) then a parental letter of consent should be submitted.
  • Six months’ statement of account from the visa applicants’ bank to determine your ability to afford the trip and all expenses involved.
  • Planned visit itinerary including all information such as the purpose of visit, arrival and departure dates, places to be visited, the relation between the applicant and the sponsoring individual, financial source for expenditures.

China,
officially the People’s Republic of China is a country in East Asia
and the world’s most populous country, with a population of around
1.404 billion in 2017. Covering approximately 9,600,000 square
kilometres, it is the third or fourth-largest country by total
area.  China’s
political system was based on hereditary Monarchies or dynasties
beginning with the semi-mythical Xia dynasty in 21st

War II. The Chinese civil war resulted in a division of territory in
1949 when the communist party of China led by Mao Zedong established

Kuomintang led nationalist government retreated to the Island of
Taiwan where it governed until 1996 when Taiwan changed to democracy.

China’s
economy has been one of the world’s fastest-growing with its annual
growth rates consistently above 6 per cent. According to the World bank
China’s GDP grew from $150 billion in 1978 to $12.24 trillion in
2017. In 2018, its GDP increased to $13.5 trillion (90 trillion yuan).
Since 2010, China has been the country with the world’s second-largest economy by nominal GDP and the largest economy in the world
by purchasing power parity in 2014.

largest exporter and second-largest importer of goods and also the

technologically advanced nation. Since 2019, China has the highest
number of rich people in the world.
