apply for a Malaysian Visa.
- Passport with at least 6 month validity
- Credit/debit card or PayPal account for payment
- Recent passport size photo
- Copy of passport main page
- Travel Itinerary
- Return flight ticket with E-Ticket Number
- Hotel reservation
- Birth certificate for minors (if applicable)
- Work or residence permit if living abroad.
- If staying with a friend/relative, you must provide a cover letter which includes the address and ID of the person.

- This is the type of visa issued to persons who want to go to Malaysia for visit and leisure.
- Most nationalities are exempt from tourist visa, but for Ghana, visa is required.
- Malaysia tourist visa can be for single or multiple entry.
- Only single entry is available to Ghanaians.
- Visa on arrival (VOA) is no longer issued in Malaysia except for nationals of People’s Republic of China and India.
- The applicant must show proof of sufficient funds for staying in Malaysia.
- The Malaysian e-Visa is not available for Ghanaians yet.
- Its holder is entitled to stay up to 30 days for each visit to Malaysia.
- Applicants must be citizens of China, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan, Serbia or Montenegro.

- The Malaysian student visa is required for those intending to study in Malaysia.
- The process of acquiring the Malaysian student visa (student pass) can be quite rigorous.
- The application process and the list of documents required may change at any time.
- Make sure to get the latest information on the visa regulations directly from the Malaysian embassy in your home country.
- Studying in Malaysia as a tourist on a social pass is not possible.
- It is not possible to extend the 6-month student pass validity in Malaysia.
- If you wish to study for an additional time, you must return to your home country and start the application process again.
- It is advised to apply for two semesters at once, so that you will be issued the 1-year visa.
- You should not arrive in Malaysia earlier than 1 week before the semester starts so that you have enough time to apply for the visa in your home country.
