Overlooking Nairobi National Park, African Heritage House has been described as rising from the parched plains of Nairobi’s outskirts like an architectural mirage. The house is inspired by the mud mosque tradition of Nigeria and Mali, the architecture of coastal Kenya and the sculptural house styles of Morocco.

There are 4 en-suite rooms, made up of 3 doubles and i single. Ali rooms mr adorned with African art and ornaments, and equipped with modern Utilities. The public rooms house an impressive collection of African textiles, masonry, wood, weaponry, pottery,jewellery and art. Breakfast  and dinner are served on the rooftop or by the swimming pool.

Traditional African food is served; Japanese, Italian and international a la carte menus can be served on request. The bar serves soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits.

The house is available for conferences and functions, as well as for larger events of up to 600 pax, such as weddings and parties. Visitors not staying at the house can book tours or the house, with or without rooftop lunch, dinner or sundowner.

The house is said to be the most photographed house in Africa, and has been the Setting for fashion shoots, architecture features and television programmes. The house funds the Nairobi National Park lion project.
