Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to
apply for a Cameroonian Visa.
- A copy of international certificate of vaccination for yellow fever.

- Two identical photographs( 4×4).
- Original, signed passport with at least six months validity beyond stay in Cameroon.

Cameroon Work Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- The Cameroon work visa is issued to those who intend to work in Cameroon.
- The Cameroon work visa allows for multiple entries. One can apply for a Cameroon work visa as many times as possible.
- The validity of a Cameroon work visa is about 90 days before it can be renewed. The length of your stay also depends on what has been stated on the employment contract.
- The work visa must be sponsored by the inviting Cameroonian company.
- The company in Cameroon has to provide the Ministry with a detailed document showing the names and addresses of all its managers, executives, including the Company’s Memorandum Articles of Association.
- You would be required to provide six copies of the Cameroonian contract of employment, signed by both the employer and employee and also describing the nature of the job.
- Rwandans intending to work in Cameroon are expected to submit a fully completed CV/resume stating at least five years relevant work and education experience. With original certificates and qualifications included in the CV.
- A medical report which is not dated more than three months is required during the application process. The medical report has to be issued by the from the county of residence or Cameroon and written in English or French.
- For your work permit, a police certified criminal record is one of the many documents to be included during your visa issuance process. It shouldn’t be dated more than three months from the day the application is submitted.
- A certified passport information and any previous Cameroonian visa stamps which are not more than three months during the time of application.
- A power of attorney will be required if when you use a third party for filling and collection of the necessary documents needed for the application process.
- Your passport has to be valid for a minimum of 12 months and with two blank pages.
- You are required to have a yellow fever certificate not older than six months prior to your entry into Cameroon.
- Bank statements for the previous year showing details of credit balance should be included with other required documents.
- A proof of temporary residence, stating if it is a hotel reservation with the location and contact details of the hotel, and this also applies when your residence would be with a Cameroonian resident.
- The work visa process takes about 3 working days to 14 days.
- If when you obtain a Cameroonian work permit, you would be eligible to apply for a residence visa. A residence permit usually lasts for two years.
Cameroon Tourist Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- Tourist visa(visit visa) is for Rwandans visiting Cameroon for leisure or pleasure purpose.
- A Rwandan is eligible to enter Cameroon with a tourist visa multiple times within the 60 day and 90 days from the date the visa was issued.
- The Multiple entry is only issued at the discretion of the Consulate.
- A valid Cameroon visa and a passport with at least six months validity is required of a Rwanda citizen.
- Two professional photo passports would be required. Your hair has to be completely pulled from your forehead and ears, exposing a clear image of your head.
- The Cameroon tourist visa is valid for 90 days.
- The Cameroon tourist visa is extendable. The extension must be within the duration of your stay.
- Since it is a short stay visa, it must be accompanied by a letter of invitation from family within Cameroon and signed by authorized personnel.
- When a Cameroon tourist visa have been issued, you are expected to travel to Cameroon within that 90 day period.
- A copy of travel itinerary would be required, which has to indicate date of arrival and departure, and all necessary flight information.

Requirements
- Rwandans are who applicants of the Business Visa are business-oriented travelers who intend to engage in business activities in Cameroon.
- With a Cameroon Visa, one is allowed to attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits.
- The holders of a Cameroon visa can negotiate and sign business contracts with their partner company during their time in the country.
- A letter written on the company’s letterhead, which introduces you, indicating your position in the company and clearly stating your purpose of visit to Cameroon is required.
- Three month and six month business visas are issued only when prior approval has been obtained by the Administrative or Immigration Authority in Cameroon.
- The Business Visa must be used within 90 days from the date of issuance.
- The business visa can be issued for multiple times, and its validity is for 30 days from the date of entry.
- A letter of invitation from the company in Cameroon is required. The duration of your trip and the purpose of the visit should be stated.
- You are expected to provide a certificate of business registration from.a company in Cameroon.
- If the company in Cameroon is going to be responsible for your finances in the country, it should be clearly stated in the letter of invitation.
