Basic Travel Requirements for Tunisians visiting

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to
apply for a Swedish Visa.

  • Correctly filled and signed the application form.
  • Original Tunisia passport with a validity of 6 months after exiting Sweden.
  • Passport should have at least one blank page for the visa stamp.
  • 2 passport-sized photographs taken against a white background.
  • A copy of travel insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 30,000.
  • Round-trip flight reservations or a complete travel itinerary
  • A copy of the hotel reservation that serves as proof of accommodation in Sweden.
  • Bank statements from the previous 3 months showing that the applicant has funds that are enough for the duration of stay.
  • Applicants should apply for visa 3 months before the date of departure.
  • Minors under 18 years must provide a copy of the birth certificate and consent note signed by a parent or legal guardian.
  • No vaccinations are required for travel to Sweden.

  • Tunisia passport with a validity of at least six months beyond the return date.
  • The passport should have one empty page for a visa.
  • Photocopies of the previous passport are also required.
  • A duly completed and signed visa application form.
  • Minors traveling alone should ensure they have an original copy of their birth certificate as well as an application form signed by both parents.
  • A tourist visa allows a maximum stay of 90 days in Sweden.
  • An invitation letter with the address and phone number from a family member or sponsor in Sweden are required.

  • A business visa does not grant the applicant to take up new employment in Sweden.
  • A business visa allows foreigners to partake in business meetings and sign business contracts.
  • Applicants can also attend conferences, seminars, or job interviews.
  • You are required to provide a letter of invitation from the company in Sweden you are meeting with.
  • A letter from your employer in Tunisia allowing your business to travel or stating the awareness of the applicant’s leave, duration, and purpose of leave to Sweden.
  • Evidence of intention to return to Tunisia which could be electricity bill, photocopies of property certificate, etc. 
  • Invitation letter from the Sweden company application will be visiting and their detailed address alongside with travel dates.
  • Bank statement from the last 6 months.
  • Documents of partnership with the business organization in Tunisia is required.
  • It must be clearly stated whether the applicant will be sponsored by the employer or the Sweden company in the business letter.
