Warrick Sony

Warrick Sony is a South African composer, producer, musician and sound designer. He was born Warrick Swinney in Port Elizabeth, in 1958.
He is the founder and sole permanent member of the Kalahari Surfers. They made politically radical satirical music in 1980s South Africa, and released it through the London-based Recommended Records. During this time the Surfers toured Europe with English session musicians.
Sony has produced albums, and ran the Shifty Music label at BMG (Africa) for two years in the mid-1990s. He has also worked as a journalist.
Now based in Cape Town at Milestone Studios, Sony has released more Kalahari Surfers albums, and been involved in art, music and DJ events in the city. He currently works on commercials, film scores and music for theatre.

John Barnes (musician)

John Barnes (born 15 May 1932) is an English-born jazz saxophonist and clarinetist who played New Orleans-styled jazz in his early career, but later also played saxophones in the mainstream style.
Barnes was born in Manchester. He has worked with many notable artists, including Janet Jackson, Leo Sayer, Humphrey Lyttelton, Alex Welsh, Gerry Mulligan, Alan Elsdon, Spike Robinson, Bobby Wellins and Keith Nichols. In May 1964 after a bad car crash Barnes as a member of Alex Welsh band was replaced Al Gay until his full rehabilitation.

Jett Craze

Jett Craze (born March 23, 1974) is a New York-based, indie rock musician, singer-songwriter, recording artist, and music composer. Born in London, England, and raised in Amherst, Massachusetts, he attended the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, and Hunter College in New York, NY. He moved back east to New York City in 1994, where he immersed himself in songwriting and learning to play the guitar. He formed several rock bands beginning in 1996, playing gigs throughout New York City. His bands’ two albums, Jett Craze and With Friends garnered attention for the groups with music featured in a multitude of Sender Film’s award-winning rock climbing documentaries. Additionally, Craze’s solo work has won him individual recognition and commercial success as not only a singer/songwriter, but as a producer and composer. He has worked on projects for clients including The North Face, Cliff, Garmin and NBC Sports.
Craze began his career performing mainly indie rock, but gradually began incorporating more of an electronic sound in 2006 when he began delving into his solo ventures and his side project So Deadly. His first solo album Strategy for Sleeping was released in 2008. Craze continues to compose and produce commercially and is set to release his next album in the winter of 2012.
